The Entry Project

I am finally posting about my entry project into FIDM. Now my sketches have gotten a lot better so just know that okay, and I am learning how to draw faces that is why the models have long bangs instead of faces.....BECAUSE FACES ARE THE HARDEST THING TO DRAW.

For my entry project I had to create an inspiration board and have a collection made up of 6 sketches (of course there was more I had to do, but that stuff is not interesting)

What I really want to do with my fashion design degree is go into evening gowns that celebrities would wear on the red carpet. I am obsessed with them and I think I have some really great ideas for them. I was going to do my whole project on evening gowns, but then I started and I realized I couldn't draw everything I had in mind....Like sequence, that is the hardest thing to draw (I even looked it up on youtube and googled it.....no help) So I decided to wait and draw my evening wear collection for when I am in college

So let me explain the colors and fabrics.
Brown = Suede
Black = Velvet
Blue = Silk
Light pink = Chiffon
Maroon = Bondage Jersey
 Ps. Shoes are extremely hard to draw for all kinds of reasons. So I did my best.

 I probably would have done this a little differently if I were to re-do it. This is just my style and what inspires me to design.
